Description

This was supposed to be my Hearts and Hooves' Day picture. However, through countless delays, I can barely even upload it during the month of February. But because of the things to deal for graduation, I uploaded the picture too late by 1st of March. And also, originally, this was supposed to be a comic, but I couldn't do it all for the due time, so only a single picture came out. Sorry.

Anyway, this is a picture of my OC, Great Sun, and his wife, Princess Shine who is MLP-WhiteNoise's OC, both holding their newborn foal.

February 14, 1005 C.E.

As Princess Shine went to the palace of her husband, Emperor Great Sun of the Fillyppines, to visit him for Hearts and Hooves' Day, she was feeling the total pain which worried Great Sun greatly. That was because Shine was pregnant with her and Great Sun's child for nine months and this time, it was time to give birth. Out of Shine's pain in her womb and Great Sun's concern, they rushed to Maneila Hospital.

For hours, the doctors and medical officials were trying their best for their Emperor's wife to make sure that she can be able to struggle, survive and successfully bear her offspring well and fine. At the tradition of mares giving birth in hospitals, Great Sun is no exception, so the blue alicorn stallion had to wait outside and pace around with mixed thoughts of concern, curiosity and hope. Concern because he was worried and didn't know what would happen in the end, if it's good or bad, and hearing the screams of threshold and agony of his wife made him worried sick even more. Curiosity because he wondered what would his child be like and if that child would be a colt or a filly. Hope because the birth of his foal would bring in a new generation for the Royal Family and spark a glimpse of new hope upon the fellow Fillypinos and Equestrians.

After a while of effort, Great Sun was told by the head doctor of the medical department to go in the room to witness it all by himself. With a deep breath, he stepped in the room. There, he saw his beloved mare, Princess Shine, lying on the bed with her mane ragged and a blanket covering most of her sweating body, tired of trying to give birth to her child. On her hooves, she was a holding an alicorn foal with most of its body covered with a towel but the head. The baby was crying, meaning that the newborn child made it. She couldn't hold her child with her magic because she was real weak and worn out. The foal has light-blue coat, matching that of its father's but lighter. The foal's mane is dark-blue with streaks of red and yellow and its eyes were sky-blue in color.

Great Sun approached his wife and newborn foal on the bed. He noticed that Shine's face was streaming with tears… tears of joy symbolizing how glad the beautiful pink alicorn was to see her very own child for the first time of her life. The stallion as well couldn't hold it back just as he gazed at his newly-born baby and began to tear up and sniffle as well.

“It's a boy,” Great Sun softly declared with his voice cracking up a bit, “I can't believe it.”

“He's so handsome,” Princess Shine, referring to her newborn colt, sniffed, “He's a lot like you… like his father.”

“I'm now a father,” nodded the Emperor in approval and joy, with tears beginning to form on his eyes, “Thank you so much for bringing such joy that I'll never forget. I love you, Shine.”

“I love you too, Great Sun darling,” the Princess of Color replied as she nuzzled her beloved wife gently and he returned the nuzzling, with both of them closing their eyes filled with tears. After showing their sign of love and affection, they looked back at their child who was in his mother's soft pink hooves.

“He will become a great and prominent prince,” Shine spoke, “We hope he shines as bright as the sun, just like we did together.”

“I know what to name him,” Great Sun said and nodded to her, with both their minds knowing exactly what name would they give their prince who just arrived in the world and would carry the legacy of his parents for this generation, and together, they both uttered the new name of their child…

“Solar Prominence.”

Princess Fantasy Star: *reveals herself from her darkened cloak*

*the guards both drop their jaw and their staffs*

Guards: *stammers* 'T-tis you, Princess Fantasy Star of the Kingdom Of Fantasy... *they open the door* Thou may enter, princess.

Princess Fantasy Star: *nods respectfully, and walks inside*

*As the princess enters to the throne room, She sees two familiar faces, The emperor and empress of the Fillyppenes. They are both in shock when they see her*
